Our History
Founded in 2008, the Desert Protection Campaign has emphasized the importance of environmental awareness, especially in the desert environment. It is one of the vital ecosystems in the United Arab Emirates, and it is a national duty to preserve, protect, promote, and raise awareness about it. The desert is seen as noble and courageous, reflecting the values of the Arabian desert.
Every year, the Desert Protection Campaign carries out its distinctive and purposeful awareness campaign in a manner befitting one of the symbols of the Arabian desert. The campaign includes lectures, educational workshops, exciting recreational activities like horseback riding and camel riding, and various other activities.
About Us
The Desert Protection Campaign is one of the many initiatives launched by Counselor Aref Ali Al-Abar, who brings with him decades of diverse and varied experiences. He attributes his expertise and knowledge to his days in the armed forces, where he found himself, his dreams, and his confidence. He is determined to give back to the armed forces and the nation.
The campaign operates under the company DXB and includes various community initiatives and contributions, such as the Hobbies Club, Rashid Summer Camp, and many other community contributions.

Our Vision
To provide a community umbrella for the protection of the desert environment, in partnership with various public and private institutions, and to enhance community involvement in serving this constructive and meaningful cause. We aim to pass on the culture of preserving the desert environment to future generations.
Our Mission
To promote environmental awareness in general and, specifically, in desert areas, in addition to educating the community members who visit desert regions about the best practices in the face of the misuse of desert environments and its resources. We all have a role in preserving our desert environment, keeping it clean, and free from pollutants or threats to its animals and plants, whether solid waste or non-degradable materials.

Every year, the Desert Protection Campaign hosts various awareness and field activities in collaboration with government and private entities. Together, we work to instill environmental protection principles, especially in the desert, among the new generation, and strengthen the connection with it as the ideal place for practicing various desert hobbies, serving as a living testament to people's pride in the environment they grew up in.
